they consistently blow my mind. can't pick a favorite. i will say that during the 90s, prison sex is the one i would crank the frick up and just marvel at how good it sounded.

edit to say, one of the best bands of all time, imo

Not surprised that there isn't much love for 10kdays. That album just doesn't do it for me.

I'll give 10k days some love... Jambi, Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two...

Favorite overall is hard for me because I've been obsessed for god damn near a decade. Toss up between Forty Six and 2, Eulogy, and 10k Days (Wings for Marie pt.2) If haven't read the lyrics to that song, it's on the level of Pink Floyd's shite, IMO.

Yea people like to hate on 10,000 days, but its still better than 99.9% of music put out in the last 10 years IMO.

That's probably a bit of an exaggeration, but it is also dumb to compare 10K Days to all music in the last 10 years. Of course most music is garbage because there is a lot of pop and foreign crap that is no good. But let's just say that .1% consist of thousands of albums. Let's also say that most people on this board probably listen to that .1%. I'm only going to listen to music that I like, and if something is moderately good or mediocre (see Mumford and Sons), it isn't saying much to say "at least it doesn't suck!!" about 10Kdays.

as a drummer always loved "Ticks and Leeches" such a sick drumming song (not that all Tool songs aren't in the same category, awesome drumming, but this one stands out)

Used to make the drummer in our band try to play that shite... couldn't even get the opening rhythm down.

yea man it's hard as crap - I knew a really good drummer that his band wanted to play The Grudge and he couldn't do the entire song; he could tear up forty six and two though
