Maiden LA -a New Orleans Iron Miaden tribute band that is one of Steve Blaze’s side projects. Basically half of Lillian Axe and half of Dark August. Next show is Sept. 2 at South Port Hall. Troy Marks is just killing it on vocals doing this music, and the musicians in the group are as good as it gets.
As far as wedding bands, 3 former Dark August guys play in No Idea, a great cover band that does a lot of weddings, casinos, festivals, etc. (trading the metal for top 40 tunes obviously).

Love Nemophilia's original work but they did 26 covers over Covid. As a new band that started right as COvid hit they released regular covers of their fovorite bands. Here are a few to check out, plus one Original:
