I go back and forth on this band. I mostly like him, but haven't been super into the last couple albums. Loved Fear Fun and Honeybear.
The singles from the new album sound promising. I'm really liking this one. It's a bit repetitive but fun.

I didn't care for his last album but this one is promising. Enjoyed him in concert too.

Yea, the last album was tier below his first four, which are all great. I have hard time ranking those first four.

Can't say I've disliked anything he's done.
Saw his with Jason Isbell at the Greek Theater in Berkeley back in June of 19. One of the top five concerts I've ever been too.
