Motorcycle Drive By & God of Wine off debut still two of the best songs ever written. For all his faults, Stevie J can tell a story.

Agreed. They have such a diverse catalog, so much flexibility and range.

Was I the only one who was pleasantly shocked by the turnout? That may be the best I've ever seen for a local non-cover band.

Heard it was packed. They promoted the shite out of that show.

Fantastic performances by both bands. Was def. pleased with the turnout...both larger and more diverse crowd than I expected. Maybe folks are starting to realize that BR's music scene has much more to offer than just crappy cover bands.

Woooooo! Bah, going see Bag 'O Donuts, Molly Ringwalds, and the CheeWee's tonight! Time to shotgun some Mich Ultra and Natty Ice!!!!

It really is good to see. It's been pretty lean times around here the last few years. That show blew me away.

Big night for local music!
Despite the rain, we've got 3 big shows tonight!
For country fans: Willy Nelson at the Texas Club
For classic rockers: Robert Plant at the River Center
For local music fans and poor people: Bayou Bullets, The Chambers, and Better By Design at The Varsity.
