Anyone else there? What a bad arse. Dude is 60 years old and played 2 hours straight with a three piece band and absolutely shredded the entire time.

He did hendrix's 3rd stone from the sun to kick off the encode and it was one of the most incredible live pieces I've ever seen.

His bassist and drummer were also incredible musicians.

I wish I had gotten into Eric a lot sooner. Great show.

Unfortunately no, but saw him twice in Baton Rouge in the eighties. Was absolutely amazing. Great show, great sound, great band. A guitar lovers dream. Blew me away. Have seen tons of concerts, and those were definitely up there at the top.

There are so many more technical guys out there but he is my best guitarist out there. His level of skill and tone is unmatched.

His tone is incredible. Some of the chords he catches are just unreal in the middle of very fast playing up and down the neck and never hits it anything but pure.

He's coming back to N.O. soon for an all acoustic show at the HOB.

Agree. Probably the only guitarist that could make an all instrumental record that I wouldn't eventually get bored listening to.
Imo, his tones are better live than what we hear on record. Just an incredible musician. Most don't know it, but he's as gifted on piano as he is on guitar.
