Has anyone seen him live before? I have always wanted to see him, but is the show worth the money? Which music does he play? Derek and the Dominoes, Cream, the Yardbirds, or mostly his solo stuff? I'm sure I won't be disappointed, guy is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.

I saw him at the NO Arena a few years back. Unfortunately I had too much to drink and it is vague. It was awesome though.

Tickets started around $100 for that show at the NO Arena iirc. Wanted to go, but didn't.

I don't particularly like shows at the arena, but if you haven't seen him before I would say it is a must do for music fans. I liked Fleetwood Mac at the arena better FWIW. Also I say Lindsey Buckingham at the Manship in BR and had backstage passes that was legit.

I've seen him twice at Toyota Center....puts on a great show. First time was with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall III in his band. Awesome show and had Robert Cray opening. He plays mostly electric but had a nice set in the middle with acoustic guitar.

Saw him last time he was here with Steve Winwood. Great show!

I don't have a ticket yet, because we just had a baby, but most likely I'm going to go and just buy one outside before the show.

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood Live At MSG - Full Concert

Just watched this set, better than a lot of jam bands I've seen. I've never seen anyone play the blues quite like this guy.

I saw him in Birmingham several years ago. I thought it was great.

I went to the one in NO probably 8 years ago. I think Jimmie Vaughan played with him. Good show

Unless he plays in a Cream or Blind Faith reunion, I have no interest in seeing him...
I have seen Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker together...
I just feel that Clapton lost all him imagination after the 60's. Yeah, Layla, was ok, and he had his moments, but if you look at what he did in the 60's, you would expect more. Meanwhile his bandmate from Cream, Jack Bruce, had some of the most imaginative solo albums ever created! Strong live performer too!
