In. Good show. Waited till DD came on. Saw Niles last time DD toured. Kind of disappointed he didn’t get a new opening band but honestly it didn’t matter. I prob would have shown up late anyway

Niles was fantastic.

DD was a little on the low energy side. I had a couple of chats with a few SK employees. They told me NOLA was basically a “middle of the week stop” for most bands.

I went to this one. Overall I enjoyed it.

Did not care for Bastille. Nile Rodgers and Chic were fun.

As for Duran Duran, I agree with a previous poster that they did seem a tad fatigued. But some of their songs were very good live. I especially enjoyed Planet Earth and Friends of Mine. Hungry Like the Wolf was also pretty solid.

They do a really great job with incorporating set design and unique video elements for every song they do. A nice touch on the production side.

It was also nice to see one of the 80s pop thoroughbred bands live. They have that early 80s feel that’s very hard to duplicate, and their show helps recreate that special time in music.

I was going to try to see them in Portland last week, but I really hate going to Portland. Great band, though.

Overall it was a great show and not much to add.

Bastille is a waste of time....The sounded fine, but nothing special with only one recognizable song.

Nile Rodgers is just an American treasure...The man pretty much invented his style of rhythm guitar and they play all the songs that he has help produce and write over the years.

Duran Duran was a solid show...They did play a few early ones that are not say well-known. Most of the women in the crowd knew it.

Totally agree with this. Kind of under the radar for a lot of casual music fans…they probably don’t realize how many classic songs he has written, produced and/or played on. What an amazing career
