i love lucero but disagree big time. i think ben would likewise agree with me

That's because Ben is humble as shite

Maybe Patterson could learn a lesson from him? Isbell surely could

I like some of their stuff a lot, but as a whole Lucero's just a little too depressing for me

DBT just comes off cheesy to me in a lot of ways. I feel like they started out strong years ago, and have since packed it in and are going through the motions at this point.

Well, everyone has their opinions, but I really think your opinions of Isbell and Patterson personally has you already set against them

You don't mention Isbell without letting it be know you think he is an arse

But, whatever, ain't nobody forcing anyone to listen to either group

He is an arse

But he's a better songwriter out of anyone in DBT

Some of the biggest rock and roll stars were giant assholes. Isbell ands Patterson are egotistical because they are making good music, nay, great music, all while the masses are still hung up on horseshite music.

When Douche Bentley stole "In a razor town" from Isbell and Isbell had every right to be an a-hole.

I prefer American Aquarium. I'll skip a lot of DBT songs when my shite is on shuffle, they wear me out sometimes...I'll listen to just about every AA song that comes on.

AA... in about the 5 songs I've heard from them, they've given me no reason to listen any further... not terrible, just boring...

I can't pick between the two. They both have great songs depending on the mood you're in.
