As a music lover and music collector, I love to gather and display all types of music memorabilia in my office studio (I guess you could call it a man cave the way its grown). Besides collecting the obvious music recordings (cd's and LP's), I've been collecting over the last 15 years great items such as:
posters
concert tickets
concert back stage passes (the silk ones are neat)
guitar picks
signed lithos/posters
signed album jackets/cd covers
signed 8x10 photos
tour programs
boxsets
dvd's/bluray concerts
official released books (signed & unsigned)
magazine clippings/articles
...and so on.
What do you have or like?

Unfortunately for me, when I left NOLA in 1980 for a job in Houston, my folks ended up selling their home and I would guess someone cleaned up at a garage sale! To the day my mother passed over 15 years ago, I bugged her about getting rid of all my display items, posters, etc. when they moved!! Luckily, I had my album collection packed and sent to Houston. I still have ticket stubs from shows going back to the 70's, as well as old concert tour t-shirts from 1975 onward. I also have press kits for album releases, studio acetates, test pressings of vinyl releases etc.
I recently started using Discogs to catalog my collection and place a value on it. I started collecting records on a serious note in 1970 when I was 13 and bought Led Zeppelin's 1st album. Since that time I now have close to 4000 vinyl albums and thousands of CD's. The most amazing thing is seeing the value of stuff today!! Glad I took care of my collection and when you see even some 45's I have worth hundreds of dollars, the final value of my collection is going to be $$$!!

Not really.
I do have the Skynyrd "Street Survivors" album in flames that got recalled after the crash and a few concert t-shirts.

Crew t-shirts from The Stones, Doobie Brothers, Rascall Flatts, Chicago. I bought the shirts off of eBay, I did not work those shows. And a poster (copy) advertising the Beatles at City Park in New Orleans in 1964. The family lived on General Haig and we climbed on the roof and could hear the commotion but no music. I was in 4th grade.

Yes I did, they are awesome, and the more vintage the better. Nice to know there's fellow collectors here as well. It's great to discuss or talk about this wonderful hobby.

Wow!
Your collection must be worthy of seeing. Hats off to you. I only have a fraction of your collection.

Palomitz- The funny thing is, after 50 years collecting music, I am still finding so many groups I missed out on from every decade!

Exactly, it happens to me as well. Instead of buying today's garbage music, I often buy an artist's album from the past that I have not owned before, and usually find many great songs which sound new to my ears.
For instance, a couple of years ago I bought Elton John's Captain Fantastic album, to which I only knew a couple of songs. It happened to be one of the best albums I have ever heard. Same for other artists during that time period, 70's & 80's.

The flagship of my guitar collection ... the violet bands have faded since 1989 ...

Summer 1989, Buffalo , NY, Hyatt. Went swimming in the pool and Jerry Garcia had signed in about an hour earlier...asked for it and the kid said no...so I went back and stole it.

Got a few things. One of my favorites is this R.E.M. setlist I pilfered off Mike Mills' stage monitor at the Saenger Theater back in 1985.

Original pre crash Skynyrd promo poster 1977
I’ve got a signed back stage pass from the reunion tour as well
A bunch of vintage concert shirts and ticket stubs
Tried to buy a concert promoter official Led Zeppelin 1977 North American Tour jacket last week. I offered $850, it went for $1250 lol.

Amazing that they performed 13 additional songs beyond the printed setlist (as per setlist.fm).

If I remember correctly back then they liked to do the same thing the Replacements used to do which was to play almost like a half-assed medley of cover songs if the mood struck them. Play like a snippet and move on to another brief snippet, etc.

Ive got a lot of signed posters and CDs with set lists and picks but my favorite item is the show poster from The Basement East December 15, 2016. Brent Cobb, Adam Hood, and Tyler Childers.
That was 8 months before Purgatory came out and changed it all for Childers. Was a bad arse concert with Cobb and Hood alone, but I will never forget hearing Tyler Childers for the first time that night sitting on stage by himself mesmerizing what crowd was there that had no clue who he was.
I have items signed by Tyler and Brent. I could probably get this signed if I really try but I dont know if I will.
