The last great DM album in my opinion. Alan Wilder is sorely missed by the fans (maybe not so much by the band!)

This x1000. Alan Wilder was a huge part of DM although the other 3 won't ever admit it. And as much as I loved the prior tours, the Devotional tour was the peak of their live shows. The DVD that they put out was so well done.

Not even in my top 20. My favorite thing that they've ever put out is the Combination Mix of Get The Balance Right, which was the first thing that Alan Wilder was on. As far as album songs? Almost impossible to pick but probably Something to Do.

I didn't like Violater and didn't really like this one, but I was in college at the time and it was pretty chic to hate on DM.
black celebration is by far their best album.

GOAT DM album! For me it's my favorite album of any band ever. Didn't say the greatest album, but MY favorite. This was their last great album but ULTRA was their last good album.

New Dress(razormaid mix) There's an indy station 103.5 in Houston that plays 80's club mixes on Saturday night. They played this one. I'm not sure I even knew it existed.
And yes, it's not really Depeche Mode without Alan Wilder IMO.

DM created great extended versions of their songs. A lot of them were better than the album versions. Still have several dozen of them on vinyl that I bought back in the day.
