Last night was great. Nice dosage of JGB plus a little Velvet Undergeound

Felt bad for Marcus King though. They had his sound all jacked up and you couldn’t really hear him. Of course, it could have been intentional with him not knowing how to play Dead tunes.

Marcus King? He’s a pretty solid blues singer, but I was referring to his guitar. Volume was pretty low.

My son went to this. He kept me up to date with snap chats. Seems like they had a blast and the performances were spot on.

I'll be attending Dec. 5th - reviews from friends are as expected - kind of slow but a fun show regardless. So I'll be cruising around downtown after working looking for a cheap ticket or just stubhub it.

tickets still FS via the Frank Erwin Center website, also tix on CL Austin. I just bought a single for $99

there's a girl on CL selling 2 for $180 , she'd probably do $150 to move them

Anyone know what time they have been starting? It says 7:00, but is that doors opening, or do they actually start around that time?

Thats show time. They are usually a little late each night. Come on stage 15-40 minutes after show time, but I'd be there by 7.
