I disagree with Grohl with one point. So alternative sites like Spin/Pitchfork favor one band over another. At least they're given an outlet for Indie fans like me to discover them. How else would of I had discovered stuff like Tame Impala or Deerhunter?

Yeah, I have lots of problems with Pitchfork, but the fact that they review lots of records is not among them. Reviewing records is great for those of us who can't keep track of everything.
