Always Something There to Remind Me by Naked Eyes. Much better than the 60’s original. Perhaps the only Bacharach/David song that the original pales to the remake.

I think we'd better declare Dylan off-limits, just to save space
Yeah I know I'm the one who posted this but I recently discovered a Dylan cover I just gotta post:

Bruce Springsteen - "I Want You" (live, 1975)

I'd known for a long time that BS had done "I Want You" in concert, but had never heard his version.

What's fascinating is that this isn't only a great cover -- it's completely opposite what you'd expect from Springsteen. Instead of bar band R&B it's a baroque slice of Left Bankesque folk-pop c. 1966. I wonder what Bob's reaction was after hearing it: "Man, I shoulda done it that way!"

That cover isn’t even as good as other covers, let alone the original

Generally don’t care for remakes, music or movies, but Phil Collins did a surprisingly good job with “You Can’t Hurry Love” and The Pet Shop Boys also did with “Always on My Mind.”

Angelina Jordan (10 Year Old) - Feeling Good "LIVE on The Stream Gir Tilbake" over all other versions. Put on headphones and listen as she effortlessly slides up the register at the 2:50 mark. Then realize that English is her third or fourth language (Norwegian, Swedish, Farsi, Japanese).

The girls are all grown up now.
Their cover of Suite Judy Blues Eye was their first song at their first gig.
Their cover of Harvest Moon is one of my favorites.

I have met these people and they are some of the nicest folks you could ever meet. If you haven't heard this (not on F&F channel), check out this cover. Better than the original, Chase over Bonnie Raitt.

I’d Rather Go Blind-the best cover version of this song. May be better than the Etta James original, and that’s saying a lot!
