wait ACM did not talk about Old Town Road?? I miss all but the ending.

A coworker had his country music playing the other day and I couldn't tell if it's the pop station, hip hop station or some combo thereof.

I believe it was 5 years ago when I was listening to a podcast. One of the host said that the slow death of music began when the sole purpose of making music was to make money. I refused to believe in this until I saw Florida-Georgia Line and bro-country get huge while bands like Whiskey Myers are not well known to the masses.

ACM awards has always been geared more to POP country unless some traditional artist just blows everyone out the water like Garth Brooks or George Strait have done in previous years.

Now today's "Country Pop" would make 1980's - 2000 Pop country sound like Merle Haggard.
