Will be a hell of a show. Unfortunately it's rare we get good, smaller country acts here in bama. Going to miss Haggard and Jamey Johnson in TTown in a few weeks because I'm moving the same day.

One might blame the sainted Chet Atkins for dealing the eventual fatal blow when he introduced the Nashville Sound--strings, studio mixes--in the late sixties.

Country as whole is much improved
I need to make a real effort to find good country these days because it sure as hell isn't on mainstream country radio. Most of that crap is just another form of bad arena rock as far as I can tell.
