Let me see your favorite chairs, stools, what have you for sitting and practicing in.

Also, anything else I need in the room :)

For my chair, I use a straight back armless rocking chair.

At least cover the whole thing with a beach towel.

Stools/ chairs with backs a bad thing compared to a regular stool?

I just use affordable, quality wood bar stools, my shop has I think four of them.

I had what I thought was the perfect one. By grandfathers old garage shop/office chair from his mechanic days. It’s an antique and I thought the arm rest was low enough. It’s not. Always in the way. Being my grandpas and old and sturdy I’d need to take an angle grinder to it to cut the arm off.

It is now my garage/shop chair for woodworking and my acoustic build. My search for an old playing chair continues.

Seems that a drummers stool would be a good choice if it had a back? Just pricey and I want cheap or old junk that I can restore and reclaim

No. I bought a couple pieces pre made or at least roughed out. Neck and fingerboard.

I had to eventually get rid of it but the best setup I had was the end piece from a sectional sofa. It had the one armrest and the other side was open and the first rule of a guitar chair is no armrests because they get in the way. It worked perfectly because it was comfortable, solid and best of all FREE because I just took it off the hands of a friend who was getting a new sectional and was going to throw it out.

Rolling office chair, no arms. Also have an office mat covering the carpet.

Need to have smooth travels between desk, rack, and keyboard.
