Chris Stapleton singing Sometimes I Cry is the worst song ever made.

Him bellering like a retard banshee at the end should be punishable by life imprisonment. Luckily I was able to turn it off right before I ripped my ears off. I would provide a link but you don't want to hear it.

Happy Sunday

Some of the Steel Drivers stuff was good music. The ones he didn't ruin by over singing like an epileptic sea lion. His solo stuff is so bad it appeals to 55 year old white women.

Chris is a fantastic vocalist

His music has been over saturated.

Needs to take a break.

Would be interested to know who some of your favorite vocalists are. That way I get a sense of what you consider quality.

I honestly agree. The dude has a real good voice, and he plays a type of music that I like. But it just doesn't work for some reason. A lot of the problem is him over singing the song, like the one that hurt my ears this morning.

All over the place. From Patty Loveless to Layne Staley, to Rev. Al Green, and all points in between

He's an R&B singer with a hat.

Good choices. Chris reminds me a little of Greg Allman.

I don't think there is a Stapleton song that I actually like

He's obviously talented, but the oversinging and trying to string out every note is ear shredding to me
