They should never be allowed to have a concert with as many people as the CS concert last night. That place is woefully understaffed and managed not to mention that concourse is way to small for that amount of people.

A/C wasn't working well it was miserable hot

I was there and agree with everything you said except how he sounded. I thought there were issues the first song or two, but they were quickly fixed. Everything else you said was spot on

Question for those on the floor. How much did you pay for your general admission tickets?
Not including taxes and fees, the price on our actual ticket said $70. We purchased from Ticketmaster. The lady standing next to us had the same ticket purchased from the same place but hers said $149.

Concert was awesome. Venue was a complete shitshow.

How was Marty Stuart? He and the Superlatives played Memphis the night before and put on a great show.

Marty was great , what little I saw of him. I spent 75% of his set in line for beer.

I remember walking to get one about 8:00. It was 8:58 before I got back.

Totally agree. I've now seen Stapleton live on 3 occasions. He was GREAT as usual. But the venue was absolutely embarrassing for Baton Rouge.

I bought my tix from the River Center itself, and they tacked on some obnoxious $250 service charge. For WHAT? An hour to get a beer, and non-functioning Air Conditioning.

Yeah, the concourse is too small, not nearly enough restrooms, and the AC wasn't capable of keeping up. Had to shower before I went to sleep because I was sweating all show, plus the guy behind us dropped a beer and it exploded all over my wife and me.

Chris Stapleton was awesome though.

The opening acts both sucked... I don't know if it was the sound mixing, or just their style, but I had a hard time understanding anything they said.

I had no problem understanding Stapleton. Maybe he just knows how to enunciate?

If John Bonham was resurrected from the dead and Zeppelin scheduled a show at the River Center, I'd probably not go. That's how terrible the venue was last night.

Surprisingly enough, there were a couple of fights and I saw some guys being escorted out by the police. Stapleton’s wife even made a comment about it.

They are never ready, especially for a BIG show...it's pretty amazing how consistent they are about it too.

We got there at 7 waited in beer line for 15 minutes and when I got up they had ran out of every beer except Budweiser. How do run out of beer before the concert even started?

I bought a few next time I went to by beer SO was waiting in woman bathroom line for 45 min and I never made it up to get one.

Walk out of the arena to the concourse and you’re greeted with lines of people. Bathrooms, concessions, or beer all crammed into one which made it hard to walk through.

When someone was playing there are no small running lights on the edge of the steps so everyone had to use their cellphones to see anything.

Pretty embarrassing this is in our town.

The venue sucked but the acoustics sounded fantastic. I think was a tip if the hat more to CS road crew than the actual venue itself.
That whole half dome looking thing behind him was full of some sound bounce styrofone box things that helped the sound.

Its not like they get tons of huge shows. They rarely get anyone currently relevant.
