I think this is Maiden’s 49th year, so I’m sure we will see a big 50th tour. I wouldn’t expect much past that.

Judas Priest and Scorpions are still going strong at 50+ years. I think Halford and Alice Cooper will be performing until they drop dead.

I've seen them many times, but with Nicko gone, the writing is on the wall.

Like Bjorn mentioned, year fifty next year, it would be a good time to hang it up.

Hey, I would mention it often, it was an amazing event and a fitting ending for the Ozzman.

ZZ Top is another band I've been debating going to see.

Saw them last year. They sounded great! Was definitely worth it.

Good to hear. I've never seen them and I've been a fan going way back to the early '80s. David Byrne is also playing a couple of shows here but tickets for that are already scarce and I'm probably not a big enough fan to pay top dollar for one.

We could have an entire thread on classic bands we need to see before they hang it up.

Maiden is pretty much in a class of their own, though. They have continued putting out albums and have never really broken up. Now, they are pushing 70 and still sound great. The singer doesn't have to do much different than he used to.

This one is now like 15 years old, but damn, it's really freaking good for being so late career:

I've mentioned a few of them in this thread with Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and Maiden. A big reason why I bought a ticket to see Robert Plant next month.

That's the tour I saw them on at Madison Square Garden. They did not play Coming Home. Dream Theater opened.
