Bonnie = living legend. Her time is growing short. Foo's have a few more. See Bonnie.

Saw her in something like 1987 at Jazz Fest; 25 years ago. Not many people at her stage, she wasn't a big deal yet though I recognized the name. AMAZING is a bit strong for her but it was a very solid show, especially since it was easy to get right up close. Hard to believe that she married Danny Noonan.

Rookie.

I saw her at JazzFest in the late 70's. Also saw her at Jimmy's on Willow Street in the 80's and on the Riverboat President. Ivan Neville was on keyboards and Johnny Lee Schell was on guitar. Hutch Hutchison was on bass even back then. Small venue and packed, but it was fricking great.

'87 she was known in '87 just not quite mainstream as she is now.

in the 70's and 80's pre pop music she IMO was one of the best female blues singers/guitarists around. I still really enjoy her early blues music and of course listening to her play slide.
