Putting an Oasis greatest hits and Blur greatest hits album against each other is pretty tough to judge that.
I think you also have to look at how the British music media turned on Oasis post-Be Here Now. The London media loved Damon and always rated their last albums as much better than they truly were. I'll admit 13 and Think Tank were better than SOTSOG and Heathen Chemistry, but if Oasis had put out DOYS or DBTT history...who knows how we would judge them.

Razorlight is the best English band of the last 15 years IMO
They have put out some really good albums.

cause they were rehashing the same old shite.
Granted, they were quasi Beatlesque with the furor their music caused in the beginning.
In the beginning.

Oasis has the best two albums overall, but Blur's overall body of work is more impressive.

I've also had an unexplainable fondness for Pete Dohertys music. He's pretty likable really. When you get past the trail of dead chicks he seems to leave in his path
Big bonus point for wearing Kate moss out while she was still young

Katie used to be hot. She must have been molested as a child or something, as she definitely had/has some self esteem issues.

Also, as a reply to people posting about Gorillaz, I'd like to just mention The Good, the Bad & the Queen. That's all.

Everyone knows what I'm going to say. Blur is good, but they don't hold a candle to Oasis.
ETA: If you like either band, check out The Stone Roses. You'll see where Liam got his swagger.

Great pick. I know that's a Stone Roses song, but I thought that was an Ian Brown solo concert?
The Verve is better than them all fwiw.
