Charlottesville last night was a scorcher, Billy played thru the set break LOL. Great arena too, old school and hassle free. Very loud

Night two incoming

so after another heater last night the crowd was in a frenzy waiting for the encore, after a pretty long wait the lights came up and the show was over…rumor is that Billy tried to jump on his skateboard leaving the stage and fell and broke his leg

we did see the EMS situation outside and several people are saying they saw it happen from seats above the stage. Hope he’s OK

I got to see John Mayer play with 3 fingers and now Billy on one leg. Please no!!

Admit William Apostle and fix that leg.

sounds like he definitely broke his leg, someone posted the EMS radio chatter after the show. Bummer

I have to say I’ve seen a lot of shows, over a dozen just this year and coming up on 50 Billy shows overall and that was the loudest arena yet. There were times at the musical peaks that the crowd was so loud it drowned out the music. Charlottesville is awesome

Now if we could just get rid of the idiots selling (and buying) nitrous balloons. They are a pestilence

Not a fan of the wah-wah-wahs baw?

ETA sucks that he broke his leg. I'm sure he'll find a way to play through it.

Charleston WV and Fishers IN rescheduled to early August, as expected. Next scheduled show is Austin TX for Willie’s 4th of July picnic

so 10 weeks or so of downtime, hope he’s a quick healer. The entire summer tour is sold out. We will be at Roanoke and Portsmouth
