quote:and that they do it with just 27 strings on 5 pieces of wood makes all that harder to believe!!
The freaking wall of sound that they collectively make is impossible to put into words.

William just casually rearranging bluegrass boundaries. No biggy.

The New Year’s Eve show was just silly good. Made a fan out of me for sure. I could not believe he kept going. He never seemed to get tired. The whole thing was amazing. Definitely something you need to see and hear at the same time.

You’re right, he never stopped except to occasionally talk. His messages were good and sincere.

I’ve decided if I got three wishes from a magic genie, one of them would definitely be spent upon asking for Billy Strings-esque guitar skills. He is a madman.

dude had a pretty rough start to his life but he’s got it all going his way now. And he deserves all the love coming in
we are going to Nashville in Feb for two at bridgestone and one at the ryman, and that can’t come soon enough for me. I’ve never been happier than I am at a Billy Strings show

Did you notice that like 5 minutes after he takes a smoke on stage he is just feeling it. There has gotta be more than weed in that.
Maybe not. He is just so artistic in what he does and just so deep into it. The other guys that played were equally incredible. The dudes wearing the masks were so talented.

As an aspiring banjo player I’m jealous. He plays that instrument the right way.
I saw where he used to give online lessons for like $60 an hour. Doubt he does that anymore.

quote:I’ve watched all 3 and Nugs does a great job. All are fantastic in there own rite. Not sure I could have made it through the 3rd set on NYE!* The fact that he can play at that level for basically 10 hours over three nights is just insane.
