Looks and sounds pretty cool. And a neat story behind it.

(And, old Josh at JHS is good at marketing )

I was not overly impressed with the muff 2 (not a huge Big Muff fan to begin with) but the visit to the old shack was awesome! Having studied electronics and being a guitarists, I was envious of these dudes. I'm glad the old dude passed the torch to them and I hope they'll do more great things with all of his prototypes and schematics.

I know guitar players and bass players like muffs but I’m not a fan of muffs or fuzzes.
That is a cool video. I would have told the old guy, we’ll give you 50% of what we can sell this stuff for. Josh is such a pedal nerd though he’d probably not let them go.

Missed an opportunity to put some bama bangs on that logo for a hair pi.

They do make a Big Muff Pi pedal (hence them using that logo) and I’ve often wondered why they haven’t made a Big Muff Hair Pi version.

Might be time to get a custom bass version made and put this guy as the logo on the pedal

Shameless show-off cue ... my very modified alpha-omega BMP circuit my very good pal Jim in Virginia built for me. Closest comp is a vintage ram's head, but with some very sweet and useful changes ...

The most viciously sweeping tandem tone and mid controls in history (goes from a VERY scooped V to a VERY tall and peaky lambda).
A "crunch/munch" switch to control volume level as it pertains to saturation, aka bedroom/studio vol vs balls-out live vol.
And a close-up of a hot pink fuzzy boa for visual ooohs.

I so, so desperately need to do a demo vid of this pedal to show it off and call my friend Jim's incredible work out. I've found no better standard or modified BMP variant to date.
