And I explained why. Maybe you didn't see it or just ignored it.
All you explained is your personal preference, which is fine, but it isn't an argument.

No ceilings was generic?
Yes

May I ask what artist(s) had the same type of flow and subject matter before the release of No Ceilings to make you say such a thing?
Are you trolling? Can't be a serious question.

Even deaf bitches say hi to me, she tell a blind bitch and she say I gotta see.

That song is full of them
"Rest in peace Apollo Creed. I'm a monster- everyday is Halloween."

"Lemme upgrade ya, we can frick lata" constantly gets stuck in my head

Stop avoiding the question and tell me what other artist(s) work that came out before No Ceilings that made Wayne sound generic. Maybe Bucc can help you out with that question since he agrees with you.

Yeah, a little bit louder
Now come on, come on
Stage 2, yeah the one ya? wanna listen to
It's off my head so let the beat play through
So I can funk it up and make it sound good
1-2-3 yo, knock on some wood
For good luck, I like my rhymes atrocious
Super calafragilistic expialidocious
I'm an effect and that you can bet
I can take a fly girl and make her wet
I'm like Samson, Samson to Delilah
There's no denyin', you can try to hang
But you'll keep tryin' to get my style
Over and over, practice makes perfect
But not if you're a loafer
You'll get nowhere, no place, no time, no girls
Soon, oh my God, homebody, you probably eat
Spaghetti with a spoon

Please refer back to the quotes on page 1.
Now honestly I can say that his commercial rap is very repetitive, but that's not what I'm discussing.
If you think no ceilings and da drought 3 have the exact same subject matter then you obviously haven't listened to the two.

How could you possibly be a wayne fan and mention these two in the same sentence? One is one of the best mixtapes ever, another is average overall and below average for wayne.

If you go listen to Big L and still think Wayne is better then you need to be upper cut. Just go listen then report back

Nah bro he's unoriginal and like every 90's NY rapper didn't you hear?

Still avoiding the question? Pathetic.
Yet still highly regarded by the hip hop community.

Yeah I don't get the love for No Ceilings. It was pretty meh.
But like it has said before, Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 are both very high quality works. Lil Wayne was on a serious hot streak from around 2005-2008.
It sucks that he has fallen so far from those days. He had a chance to go down as one of the best ever but instead whored himself out to pop trends and Mountain Dew contracts.

Basically.
Very simple subject matter and he never travels outside of the box with his rhymes.
Basically he has guns, his style is the best, he'll beat you up, and frick your bitch.
Not very creative, but that's probably the only thing he was ever exposed to so I guess I can't be too harsh.

Same here. He had a couple of hot freestyles but that was it.

Compared to Da Drought 3 or everything else that was being released at the time?

I don't know if I was listening to much hip hop during fall 09. Phish had just gotten back together, and well you know the story.
