I got Lonesome Crowded West with This is a Long Drive... in a pretty distant 2nd
I know we got a few Modest Mouse fans on the music board, what are yalls opinions?

It's a very tough question, but I've never seen an album encompass a feeling quite so accurately as this one. Tiny Cities, Paper Thin Walls. There isn't a bad song on this one.

The Lonesome Crowded West, though I admit most poeple will say Moon and Antarctica.
But Good News For People Who Love Bad News is way underrated. Bury Me With It to Dance Hall to Bukowski is probably my favorite stretch on any of their albums.

In the past I would have said LCW, now I would probably say M&A. Both are pretty much top ten all-time for me though.

This is a tough one. M&A and Lonesome Crowded West both have a special place in my life. These albums got me interested in different types of music and have shaped my taste into what it is today.
I'd probably go with M&A, with LCW in a close second. Both albums are amazing.
If you haven't seen the LCW documentary that Pitchfork did, you should check it out. Here was this band in the mid to late 90's that I didn't even know about until 2004...It's really cool to see what they were like back then.
