As for Slowdive, I’m probably in the minority here, but I think there self titled comeback release is their best album. It’s my favorite at least.

Apparently you don’t. Nor can you distinguish between it and music. I have unfortunately listened to far too much Lush, MBV (including live), The Cure and other such acts thanks to a former fiancé. Enough to determine that distorted fuzz, inaudible lyrics, perpetual reverberations etc is just racket. A smoke screen to make “different” music without actually having any talent.
