Bands you've always been curious about

but never really listened to.
I've been using the down time and Youtube to check out bands I've heard of but never much listened to. Results so far:
Fairport Convention - yes
the Cure - no
the Smiths - no
Crack the Sky - sort of yes
J.J. Cale - big yes

The Smiths are so damn good. But I can definitely see that they aren’t for everyone.

They were getting FM airplay and played live seveal times in NOLA back during the 70's...
I think the last time I saw them live was at The Warehouse, during their early peak.

Smiths are one of my all time favorite bands.
I prefer Richard Thompson solo stuff over Fairport Convention.
