I have Stay Gold also, but not The Big Black and the Blue.

Late night, great sounding ATCO press.

Then, Local Natives - Hummingbird
[/img]
The day after I had counted down all of your breaths down until
There were none, were none, were none, were none
A hummingbird crashed right in front of me and I understood all you did for us.
You gave, and gave, and gave, and gave.

Thinking about someone writing those words after their mother died absolutely kills me.

I don't know why my pictures are so bad tonight, but they just are.

Peter Gabriel--"So"...Classic Records QUIEX SV-P 200g, Limited Pressing...this pressing 2002.

This is the Rolls Royce of Record Labels...Classic Records. They always went back to the original master tapes to press records. They went out of business around 2009, and their pressings are highly regarded and sought after by audiophiles. This record is super clean, quiet, and dynamic.

Weather Report-Weather Report (1982)

This album is littered with fat grooves.

Its the first time I have had anything from Orpheus, and I am impressed. Kind of upset that I didn't grab more when I was at Sherlocks in Marietta. Transmigration is an incredible beer.

Yeah, I wish I would have picked up all of his solo works on Classic Records 200g eight years ago when they were released. They were $40 a pop back then. They now command north of $200 if you can find them!

The above caused me pull the LP out...up next on the analog rig...

Billy Joel--"52nd Street"...very limited run (#0941/2500) on Impex records, 180g virgin vinyl, 1978/2010. Impex went back to the original master tapes on this on, and it shows--an excellent reissue.
