I just ordered a new DAC. The PS Audio DirectStream Mk 2. Hopefully it’s here this week.

This Bluesville Acoustic Sounds series is really good. The mastering is fantastic!

Any of you guys can recommend a new turntable for me? I am doing more vinyl now and have a decent system but Id like to upgrade my players. I have a low end Audio-Technica and I am using it with the built in preamp in the turntable.
Im connecting it to a Emotiva processor that is feeding a Emotiva Amp and SVS speakers. Found a little extra cash this month and want to put it to use upgrading my player. I could spend up to 1K on the new stuff but would like to spend a little less and then go shopping for more music. My processor does not have a dedicated turntable input so I am using a Aux input if that helps
I play mostly classic rock and some blues for the most part.

Technics SL-1500c.
It can be had around your $1K price. Has auto lift and a built in phono preamp plus comes with a solid cartridge that could be upgraded later to an even better one.
Edit: I have one of its "big brothers". I went from a belt drive to direct drive in getting that TT, and for me it was a significant change. I like the Technics DD setup a LOT - it's so solidly built and speed is locked in so well, and easier to use / maintain.

And just that quick it’s now an old DAC, I’ve had it for week. They just released a new DAC at Axpona.
