I also motion to anchor that stupid game sticky'd at the top. I'm pretty sure none of the consistent MB posters post in that retarded shite.

You know they played at the Ogden in Denver a few days after we were there?

Pretty stacked lineup that week with Animal Collective, MGMT, and Alt-J. Not sure what Alt-J's live show is like but the former two were both disappointing.

eta: now checking they were at the Fillmore Denver not Ogden

MGMT and Alt-J have weak live shows. Animal Collective has been hit or miss.

I was told that alt-j at buku was a bad show in general and not to judge their live performance from that show. Are you going to the HOB show?

I love their studio efforts but live they just don't do it for me at all. Saw them Bonnaroo '09 and at New Orleans HOB last year. Boring stuff, and the 'Roo show was downright bad. Strictly based off youtube Panda Bear's live shows look weak too. They are just masters of the studio, and I still respect that.

That show sucked. Left early.

Pretty meh but not as bad as Bonnaroo and I still enjoyed it. They had better shows before Centipede Hz.

I liked Foxygen's album the best so far this year, granted I've been slacking on keeping up my hipster cred lately

RAM was good, and I liked it a lot when it came out, but I haven't listened to it in months. After the four or five times I listened to it when it came out I've never put it back on my ipod. Usually not a good sign

A lot of my buddies like Alt-J a bunch. I like a couple of songs, and it's a solid album, but album of the year? Probably not

MBV was pretty solid. The Knife's new album was alright, didn't really get too into it though

What else came out this year....oh yea, that Disclosure album was pretty boss. Got some bangerzzz on that one.

I fully expect the new Arcade Fire album to blow everything else out of the water and run away with album of the year
