Add in, Delaney & Bonnie (after Blind Faith).

After the unsatisfying experience of being in a super-group, Clapton (& occasionally George Harrison) wanted to just lay low & play guitar in a band so he joined one of Blind Faith's opening acts, the (OG) southern-rock/blues-band, Delaney & Bonnie.

But Delaney turned into maniacal & abusive leader, Eric and the bandmates slowly avoided Delaney & all went into hiding in England. They enjoyed playing together so much, they made a bunch of songs. Eric wanted the world to hear them but didn't want Delaney to know Eric stole all of Delaney musicians. So, they called themselves Derek and the Dominos.

Col. Bruce Hampton & the Late Bronze Age
Col. Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit
Col. Bruce Hampton & the Codetalkers
Col. Bruce Hampton & the Quark Alliance
Col. Bruce Hampton & the Madrid Express

I’m sure he played under a couple of other names as well.

Yeah, it was a pretty toxic relationship. All the perpetual fighting between Delaney & Bonnie pretty much drove the band away.

I didn’t know Bonnie had a regular role as a waitress on Rosanne:

Didn’t some former members of Delaney and Bonnie split to form Little Feat? Don’t know exactly which members but I’m pretty sure that was the case.
