Great get for the Varsity I'm pretty jealous. Too bad there isn't a home game that weekend so I could have another excuse to fly into town. What a weak North American tour.

Found out on AMUS twitter. Came here to see if posted. Would have rathered a New Orleans Show, but I'll take my favorite band playing in driving distance though. Their tickets for their mini US tour this may went about $40 total. I bought a ticket to their Dallas show. They were going for $100 by the time of the show.

Their new songs are pretty cool. Can definitely recognize the influence of their peers. Do I Wanna Know has some definite QotSA sounds. Mad Sounds has some Richard Hawley influence. Love it. Can't wait for their new album too.

Probably England's most iconic band right now. Not huge in the states, but they have success here none the less. Have two of the best albums of the 2000s. Played on the biggest of stages in the biggest of roles. Olympics, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Coachella. Even played at the Apollo. Great music that spans so many sounds.

Sorry for my short lecture thing. My fan is taking over.

Edit: Not the NY Apollo Theatre. The Apollo in Manchester. I thought of it because of their live DVD: "At the Apollo"

No problem. Just trying to carve my little niche in TheDoc's grip on the southeast Louisiana music scene. This was one big step in that effort.
