Not "The Warehouse" but "A Warehouse."

The Allman Brothers played there so frequently they were considered the "House Band". Hendrix was booked to play there, canceled, but still played at Baton Rouge High, and somewhere in Shreveport.

Was always amazed at some of the shows my dad said he saw there: Elton John, Jethro Tull, The Doors, Bowie....just to name a few.

It was an awesome venue and I enjoyed a number of excellent concerts there. It was just what it's name suggested, a warehouse with concrete floors. There were piles of throw rugs near the entrance. You just grabbed a rug and found yourself a spot on the floor and dug the music.

I remember going to a few shows there in the mid-70’s. Unfortunately I don’t remember much about the shows.... The mid-70s in general are kind of one big blackout.

Same here. Looked thru my ticket stubs, the only one from the warehouse I could find is Ted Nugent from ‘77. Saw a lot of bands there. We may have been there for some of the same shows.
Seems like they always had them kids wanting to watch your car for $5.

Was lucky to see a few shows there: KISS being the best one back around 77. Also saw Gary Wright, Ted Nugent, Montrose and Peter Frampton right after his double album live album.

Seen Blue Oyster Cult and Rush was the warm up band

A little before my time. I missed the heyday by a couple of years.
