I've seen them twice (DLR and SH) and I don't really dig the new album, but will go if I can get great tickets.

I'm not sure about Ticketmaster.
I've never seen them with Roth. Think they will play a bunch of new stuf?. I have not heard it and just want to go to see oldies.

Yeah, no kidding! The first time I saw them was with Sammy, but EVH was hammered drunk, so his playing was pretty bad. He was jumping around for "jump" and it was pitiful.

Was this 2004? Saw them in Gulfport and it wasn't good either. In Sammy's autobiography, he talks about what a train wreck this tour was. AVH and EVH wouldn't talk to him except when they were on stage. Sammy said he'd check on EVH about and hour or two before each show to make sure it wasn't too smashed to go on stage.

i just got home from it, we had floor seats. i didn't see anyone openly doing coke in the bathrooms, although the smell of weed was very prevalent.

Yea, plenty of weed going around. I heard some people didn't like DLR. He went off on some tangents at points but I enjoyed the show.
