Any way to experience old concerts in VR?

Was thinking how awesome it would be if a company could get its hands on well taped concerts from decades passed, and convert the footage to VR.
That way you could relive the experience of an original Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc. concert.

It would really just be like watching it on IMAX. Right now you can go get a VR thing for just about any phone and pull up the concert on youtube or somewhere.
Unless someone had the foresight to take 360 degree footage from one spot a long time ago.

Not VR, but I use the little Nebula projector for live streams and old shows. Awesome quality up to 100". Pretty much puts you in the crowd.
