Idk if i was a day 1 user, but pretty close. Pretty sure im about to switch services
- Their search function is unusable probably 50% of the time. Ive uninstalled, force stopped the app, all the crap ive seen reccomended and it persists. Tech support is unresponsive on a real fix. Its the worst issue by far
- It interrupts when i have it on at work on my headphones routinely. Idk if its a buffering issue or what. super annoying reaching for my phone all the time
- It seems like they dropped their friday new release section. It was one of my favorite things on the service
- I didnt really care for their political turn with removing artists from playlists they deemed reprehensible. Total sjw move and not something i need from my streaming service. Dumb arse idea and a slippery slope

Nah this was well publicized. Only a few artists i didnt give a major shite about i just thought it was a dumb PR stunt. and im not one to care about shite like this. minor complaint
The tech issues i have are very common for them. glad you dont have the issues. Admittedly i have the luxury of listening to music in my bluetooth 8+ hours a day. So it probably stands out considerably more. But on their support pages ive seen tons of people echoing the exact same complaints and dropping their subscriptions. Dealt with it on my Note 8 and now 9

I don't have any technical issues with Spotify, but it's really disappointing that they still haven't replaced their Roku app, which is one of the main reasons why I switched to Spotify in the first place.

yea i have none of those issues. release radar is still active.
if you are using Roku you just need to stream from your phone or table. easy work around

All you kids are suckers. Just fricking snag the mp3 and it’s yours whenever you want it.
I know you kids really struggle with a low phone battery or poor service.

Spotify has the best interface of all the streaming services, and offers the best overall product IMO.
I have Apple as well. It’s just nowhere as good. Apple caters to the top 40 hit crowd.

I love their shite. Works great.
I stream XM sometimes, but Spotify provides 90% of my music at home.

Mine has always worked really well. Their radio function sucks because it repeats too much, but the functionality of the app is great IMO.

Well then that’s your loss

Haven't experienced any of those issues. Their search function has actually gotten a little better, but still could improve. Used to, if you didn't spell the name of the artist or song exactly right, it wouldn't find anything. Now it will if you're at least close to the spelling.

These problems seem unique to you. Do you only use 1 device for listening? Have you tried other devices, like their desktop app or another phone?
I agree with other posters...Spotify has the best interface, though I wish their radio stations were a tad better, but that's not a big deal.
One thing I'd like them to eventually do is allowing multiple devices to stream in-sync. I.E. Start a playlist on one device, and be able to connect to that stream from another device with the spotify app installed. There are a couple third party apps that allow you to do this, but they are a bit flawed.

Rhapsody which is now Napster is the way to go.
Blows Spotify out of the water, and the interface is WAY more user friendly.
