Any Leon Bridges fans?

I cam across him on Spotify before his first album came out and then jammed his first album pretty regular once it was released. Im a big motown fan so it was awesome hearing some new school motown style r&b.

Went to a Lord Huron concert in Dallas and didnt find out till the day of that LB was opening for them. His first album hadnt even come out yet. That was a pleasant surprise.

He was really good live. He doesnt do much, pretty much stays in the same position throughout his whole set lol, but it sounds like your straight up listening to his album in your car his sound is so crystal clear.

So by r&b garbage you mean 1 album? You say "old" Leon like he's had 6 albums and has sucked for a while. I mean the dude only has two albums and is 30 years old. Its not like there is a lot of throwback stuff.

I first heard his music on the spectrum channel on Sirus radio. A lot of good music came out around the same time . The Record Company, Night Sweats , Etc

Also discovered him on big little lies
Coming home is a top 3 album this decade and plus his stuff with Luke combs is great. Great voice with thoughtful lyrics, no idea how he isn’t more popular

The 2nd album is much different from the first and the kid was making music before the first album. There’s not a huge catalog, but you can easily tell the difference between the first & second album.

Big fan of Leon Bridges. Went to see him play at radio city music hall last year.

This song is solid. Sounds on par with Coming Home. I didn't really care for his latest album, too R&B for me
