Any guitar players here? Looking for ideas.

I've completely shifted to Open G tuning. I'm a blues guy and to be honest, it just makes things easier, and sounds way better to my ear.
Any ideas on some Open G songs? I've gotten into the usual stuff, and I've ripped through my scales, just looking for something I may not have thought was in Open G, or even an alternate version of a song most folks would play in standard tuning. Genre doesn't matter, I prefer blues/rock, but I'm game for anything that sounds cool.

Pretty sure Duane is all about the open g in statesboro blues - allman bros

Duane typically played in open E but I guess he could've played in open G on Statesboro

does anybody have any good hand exercises to strengthen your hands for guitar playing. Im wanting to start playing more often. I delivered sheetrock for years when i was younger and will probably have arthritis at an early age from it. Every time i pick the guitar back up i end up putting it down because i cant ever practice more than 15 or 20 min before my hands start killing me (sorry OP)

You've just got to play through it until your hands get used to it.

Keith Richards plays pretty much exclusively in Open G, so just take your pick.

Lots of John Hurt in open G, and I believe there's some hill country stuff too but you may have to wade through a lot of open E and D to find it. I've always preferred finger picking in open tunings.

Yeah, you gotta just play through it. Now, if it's an arthritis issue try taking some Alleve or something. My dad has that problem.
If it's you're fingers that are hurting, try lighter gauge strings. It will also help if you get a good setup done on your guitar, have the tech lower the action on the strings, this will make a huge difference.

I'm working on Jumping Jack Flash right now. Most of the Stones stuff is real fun to play.
Alternate tunings have kind of reinvigorated my playing. So many cool places to go. Plus the slide is awesome sounding.

Zep's traveling riverside blues is on of my favorites to play. Tune that g down to f# and you can pick on skip James' hard time killing floor blues.

Ironically, Travelling Riverside Blues is the song that sent me down this road.
I had played Daughter a long time ago, using the Open G, but kinda blew it off as some strange tuning. Now years later I'm back.
Skip James is fantastic, I'd really like to play Crow Jane. I guess I need to organize better to get through all of these songs I want to learn.

I'm learning steel guitar right now and the first tuning I'm working on is C6. This one is pretty interesting. It's CEGACE. So the 3 bass strings are a C major chord and the 3 treble strings are A minor. Definitely hard to wrap your neurons around if you're used to standard tuning or any of the open major chord tunings like G, D, E or A. Another strange tuning I've run across is CFCFAC for When the Levee Breaks.
