I am just getting into them, had heard of them before but never checked them out til about a week ago. They have blown my mind for the most part so far.

They are consistent as heck. Every album is gold, even the early Jonathan Fire Eater lineup is pretty good. Leithauser is an underrated lyricist and Heaven was my favorite album of 2013..... and it was their last for awhile.

One of those bands Ive always intended to listen to more, but never have.. I bought their s/t EP way back when and I liked it.. kinda U2ish (in a good way).. maybe I'll dial 'em up this week at work..

Bows + Arrows is a good place to start. But I consider the 3 album stretch of You & Me, Lisbon, and Heaven to be right up there with any other trio of releases from any other recent indie rock band.

One of my top 5 favorite bands, thanks for the link 2006. As for the break up, they're on "indefinite hiatus" not broken up....A girl can dream can't she?

How popular did they become? I hope pretty popular, cause their music is great. I don't know anyone irl that's heard of them though, like I said I had heard of them before, but not often.
