Any Collective Soul Fans?

I’ll give it a listen with very low expectations. I only liked one album.

I usually like a few songs from each that they've put out. They've been playing songs from this album live for a while, and they sound good. One of my favorite live bands, also! Always a great show.

I liked Shine, when it was first out.

Reminds me of music played over the PA system at the fair.

Never liked their music at all. I saw them at Rockfest in Fort Worth in 97 & they had one of the greatest covers of Ozzy's Crazy Train that I have ever heard. I was completely shocked by how good it was.

Hints, Allegations..... was a really good album, even in retrospect.

First, starting off a sentence with "Pro: tip" is a true sign of douchebaggery.

But he's right IMO. They were a decent band who made a good album, but by no means were they some huge band, outside of their popularity for that one album, much like the band Live (who's only good album is MUCH better than Collective Soul's)

It’s so funny that you guys are about to rip your internet shirts off over Collective F’n Soul.

In the 90's, I hated Collective Soul. But now I love them for the nostalgia. Until I read this thread, I didn't even know people outside of Georgia even followed them nowadays.
