Absolutely nothing beats Pigs Live in 1977. It was a rocking and extended version.

Had to settle for 300 level seats. I'm a broke arse med student. I never go to concerts, but Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band and may never have this opportunity again.

My buddy got us tickets in sec 106. Most I've ever paid for a single concert, but definitely a bucket list show for me.

Maybe I'm biased, as it was released on my 5th birthday (my sister never let me forget that fact) but it has GOT to be their most underrated album...both lyrically and musically.
I forget that it's more or less a concept album. These songs rock, every last one of them.
I really, really love this album.
"...the stone...the stone...the stone...."
My favorite PF album and one of my top 5 favorites of all time. It's stunning work that is often forgotten

Visually speaking, if this tour is anything like The Wall tour, then there's no shame being in the cheap seats. We had close seats for The Wall show, and it was awesome...but we decided to sit in the back for the second set, so we could soak in the whole visual experience. There's an upside to either scenario...

What a great album! I was actually listening to Animals today. Guess my ears were ringing.

Animals is my favorite album ever.

Enough cannot be said about this classic! On a side note, this past year Floyd re-released all of their albums on vinyl, all remastered by Bernie Grundman, who's held in pretty high esteem by the audiophile crowd. Animals sounds amazing, and it's actually a slightly different presentation compared to the original. Not a remix, just a different mastering. The first thing that jumped out to me were the toms on "Dogs"- wow. My original pressing is my go to, but this is a nice, clean copy that they did a great job with while staying true to the dark tone and menacing sound of the album. An interesting listen for you vinyl heads...

Awesome performance. Even better, here is a link for the entire Oakland 1977 performance. What a killer show, with a double encore featuring the last performance of Careful With That Axe, Eugene. They played in Baton Rouge a few weeks earlier at the PMAC.

I really like Animals and it is certainly one of the more underrated Floyd albums ever but Wish You were here is still my #1 with Shine On being the best single they ever recorded...
Dark Side and The Wall get most of the popularity for them but Animals, Wish You were here and The Division Bell were all excellent..

One of my favorites as well....so damn good. Brit Floyd is playing here this summer and I'm seriously considering going. Anybody seen them? They look like they put on good show.
Brit Floyd - Pigs
Brit Floyd - Run Like Hell
Saw them last summer in Atlanta and have tickets to go back to see them this May at the Fox Theatre... For people who love Floyd, you will love this band. Very much worth the money
Their tribute to Shine On, Great Gig and Us & Them is excellent. They are more polished than the original but do not make any adjustments..

Saw this tour and the show was at the LSU Assembly Center, back when BR had real concerts on a weekly basis. Never understood why this album doesn't get the recognition it should. One of my favs.....man those lyrics.
