Bryan Adams is brining his acoustical tour to Shreveport. Just him on his guitar with a piano player. I like BA, but he's not like my all-time favorite. On the day tickets went on sale the best seats were $80 a pop. This ain't Vegas, this ain't a Led Zepplin reunion concert. I just couldn't pull the trigger on $80 and I don't want to spend $50/ticket to sit in the upper balcony.

Does this seem a bit high to you regular concert goers?

Now now, the Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions

Only you can decide how important seeing Bryan Adams is to you

Asking here will only get you 1) "LOL you poor" and 2) "Bryan Adams sucks"

If you want to go, go
If not, don't

I agree with the K man... I'm guessing a lot has to do with your amount of disposable income, cause those are expensive tix (no matter who is playing)...

$80 is not outrageous these days but I wouldn't pay that to see Bryan Adams. As for it not being a Led Zeppelin reunion, you know how you can tell? Because the tickets aren't $300.

Lose the "B" and cut the price in half, and I'd go.

If there is an artist on your list to see and you've never seen them before and you really want to see them, then go for it. Suck it up. Hell buy four tickets and sell two on craigslist after it sells out. Let the procrastinators make your ticket cheaper.

I spent more to see Van Morrison than I'm willing to admit.

I probably didn't phrase my question correctly. I really don't go to too many concerts so what I was mainly wanting to know is if you guys think $80 is a bit high for a concert. The concerts I have been to lately were more like $50/ticket.

He's hit and miss as far as albums go. Heartbreaker is a classic. Rock and Roll is fantastic. Lot of fluff though.

doesnt strike me as outrageous

As a kid, I was a huge fan back in the Cuts Like a Knife/Reckless days.

Id probably pay it if he were in my town, wth.

cant agree here. majority of his albums are superb beginning with his albums with Whiskeytown.

i'd actually put R&R around the bottom

favorites: Jacksonville City Nights> Gold> Heartbreaker> Cold Roses>Ashes & Fire> Cardinology> Easy Tiger

I tend to agree... When he's on, he's at the top...

I go Heartbreaker > Cold Roses > Gold > Cardinology > JCN > ET > A&F...

The Love is Hell EPs are great...

Stranger's Almanac is my favorite thing he ever did... I still remember the day it was released... highly anticipated... a buddy and I put back a case giving it a few spins... good times..

That tends to happen when you put out a new album every three weeks.

No, $80 is not that high for a ticket. It's high, but it's not absurdly high.
