you can dislike anyone you want, but the statement below talks to how other's should think...

No, it talks about how others think vis a vis how I think.

Ryan Adams thinks a lot of himself. This cannot be denied.

Fans of Ryan Adams think he is, if not the best songwriter in the world, somewhere in the top 5.

So Ryan Adams' opinion of himself + His fans' opinion ofhim == a musical God.

Robert Raymond the 21st thinks that Ryan Adams == a guy who puts out three bad songs for every one good song.

I think 10% is thus a fair statement of my own perception vs. the perception of those who wish to fellate him with their compliments and high praise.

I'll give him props on banging Mandy Moore. I always liked her.

Does this seem a bit high to you regular concert goers?

I'm not a regular concert goer--maybe one or two a year.

$80 is what I would say is a fair price for good seats.

Recent examples:

Def Leppard/Heart: approx. $75-80 mid-level, New Orleans Arena
Heart: $60 at House of Blues
Diana Krall: $125 for orchestra seats at Verizon Center (5000 seats)
Michael Buble: $125 for floor seats and the first set of risers ($80-100 everywhere else) New Orleans Arena
Jane Monheit: $43 front row center, Manship Theater (300 seats)

I'm not going to see Wilson Philips, but I know the tix for their appearance at Manship are well over $100.
