My cousin is a big Dax Riggs fan. His music isn't my cup of tea but there are some hardcore fans of his out there.

Not a huge fan of Dax's non AB stuff, though Agents of Oblivion was alright.

Same here, grew up going to Acid Bath shows, but can't really get into any of his other stuff.

My cousin was their drummer. I met a couple of them, but I was real youny and don't remember much of it. I just visited his mom and dad over this past Christmas break. I hadn't seen them since my mom passed away. They're really kind, generous people.

around the time of deadboy and the elephant men, dax's voice was at its peak IMO. he'd blow people away live. i don't care much for his newer stuff. acid bath is probably the only heavy band from my teenage years i still like. i dug agents of oblivion too.

I had just started getting into them when Audie died and they broke up. I've always suspected they would have been pretty successful on a national level if that hadn't happened.

I like Dax's solo stuff a lot. Really solid. Acid Bath was also a great band. I'm disappointed he wasn't more successful.

You go back and listen to When the Kite String Pops the production level on that album and the sound that it had at that time were on par with anything.
Especially for a debut album. The sound was really refined.
