You either get them or you don't, and they're probably kings of the hot take opinion. Personally, I'm enjoying the new album PWR/UP alot, and it might be my favorite DC listen since Flick Of The Switch. Unlike their last several releases, this passes the "car ride on the highway" test from front to back. Malcolm (RIP) is certainly missed, but his fingerprints are all over this album. Glad to see the boys giving fans something to cheer about in a crappy 2020...

My CD copy is arriving today. Glad they're back.

Agree on Flick of the Switch, a very underrated record.

Like an idiot, I chose standard shipping at checkout, so it's doubtful my deluxe edition will be on my doorstep today, lol... oh well, at least I can still stream it anyway!

Yeah, Flick deserves more love. It's only crime was that it followed two monster-selling albums, but it has just as much replay value in my house.

Just finished streaming the full thing, and it is really good.

With Brian's hearing the way it is, I know he'll never be able to tour with them again, but if they can pump out a few more albums like this, it will at least give us fans something to look forward to; it really really captures the post Bon Scott sound of the band that I grew up listening to.

I read an interview with Angus about the album. He said they had a lot of tapes with songs and riffs he and Malcolm wrote together and they used that material for the new album. I like the album a lot after one run through.

Brian said that a doctor has given him some new earpiece/implants that work well enough to give him back hearing in a live setting and they are ready to tour as soon as everything opens up. He said they played a gig in Holland at the beginning of the year and everything was great. Would love to see those guys again one last time.

From what I'd heard, if they DO get the opportunity to tour, it's gonna just be a handful of shows. I know Cliff said he's up for a few gigs, but because of his health, these days he's content grilling burgers and having a few pops with his buddies

i am a sucker for killer packaging and i bought the deluxe issue, hope this is good, but i feel it will be on pare with rock or bust and black ice. that is not necessary as bad thing, just very slick sounding

There's a certain slickness, but there's also alot more punch in the songs. While Black Ice and Rock Or Bust had its moments, I reached for the skip button alot too, but IMO they really nailed it on this album.

Maybe it's the cocktails talking, but "Demon Fire" is a muthafukking slobberknocker...

music....time will tell if this falls in the bin with everything since "Blow Up Your Video"

Love Malcolm, his brother, and especially their older brother, but this band has been shite since Bon Scott died.

Man, I love Bon Scott era AC/DC, but that is just a God awful take.

I've never seen them live, would love a chance to.

Looking forward to picking up the new album. I did hear a couple of the new songs that are on youtube.

Nothing to get. Either you like a good hard rock sound on vol. 10 or you drink shirley temples from a martini glass.

. I know they were much bigger with his successor, but they were heavy metal starting with the back in black album (whilst being good old r and r with Scott).

I listened to the new album on my drive to work this morning. It's a rock solid effort that's as good as it gets from a band at this stage in their career.

I agree but it was badly engineered. The vocals were buried way to deep in the mix
