Agree. Just because something was somewhat "mainstream" doesn't mean you have to dislike it. It was not only a great time for mainstream music, but for burgeoning acts that would influence the indie scene so many have found a strange and exclusive attachment to.

Plenty of awesome 90s rock I haven't mentioned. This was a good time for the beginning of alternative rock IMO

Second Coming is in Fact album by Stone Roses and was in fact released in the 90's. Whether you like it or not doesn't change those facts.
