Prince... what an amazing talent.

Prince passed just before my wife gave birth to our second daughter; we watched the news coverage of his death from our hospital room.
I turned to my wife and said, "If this kid has an affinity for purple; I'm just sayin'..."

Same fentanyl took George Floyd in the same city. Also took Tom Petty. Fentanyl, “don’t come around here no more”.

The wife and I went and saw him on what turned out to be his last tour. Great show.

From what I remember his last show was in Atlanta and he did all his songs from a piano and it was amazing.....

I forgot David bowie died as well, I was watching a video last night and realized so many people that I grew up listening to are dead.

He was unable to present anything other than a great performance. He was the best all-around musician and performer that will ever live. And you can't even see who's in second place.
I got to see him twice, once in 1988, and the other
in 2001. Both times right up close to the stage. I wish I had been able to go more than twice.

He was talented but I can only tolerate about three of his songs.

To each his own I guess....

My favorite song to commemorate his passing...
Mac McCaughan - Happy New Year (Prince Can't Die Again)
