Did you even look at the list? It’s a treasure trove of music for the 90s goth kids. You have no idea what you’re talking about or laughing at. Sometimes it’s best to say nothing and not make a fool of yourself. Too bad you failed at that.

You might legitimately be retarded.

Damn what a list. That's probably 95% of what is still in my music rotation today

1. Raising Hell Run-D.M.C.

And ya'll laughed at me (well two people anyway) in the other thread for posting their 2nd album. I bought this one the day it came out. The guy in the record store had heard the buzz about it and asked me if I would open it and if he could play/listen to it after I bought it. I said sure and he cued up Walk this way. The entire record store stop what they were doing and looked at the speaker. He sold two more copies right away.

2. Licensed To Ill Beastie Boys

I've said this on here many times, but I saw the Beastie Boys in Summer of 1986 before Licensed To Ill dropped. They didn't even turn off the house lights and rode out on stage on their skateboards. They played Slow and Low and Time to get ill and that was it.

ETA: While I loved it when it came out, I now think LTI is the Beasties worst album. It's simply too sophomoric for me at this point in my life. Even Polliwog Stew and Cookie Puss (I had both on cassette back in the day) with their lack of production are better.

Your ignorance is not my problem. '85 was my frosh year at LSU. By '89 I was a DJ at Murphy's and Fred's. This was our music. Those bars were nothing but frat boys, bow-heads, preps and athletes. You know how many goths? Zero. You have zero clue here and need to sit this one out.

Listing to music with you would be my own personal hell.

Meanwhile I was DJ at an industrial/goth club in the 90s, and the majority of this list was their main rotation. Just because your frat boys liked it in 85 does not mean the goths didn't, you twat. Now go have a seat, old man; your swollen prostate is making you angry in your ignorance.

Great, so you know that stuff.

Goths liking it doesn't make it goth, moron.

Exactly - young man when this stuff was current. You are an absolutely miserable person.

The irony of calling someone a moron when you can't read for shite. Here, I'll post what I wrote for you again, and maybe you'll figure it out this time.

quote:

That's because that list is clearly comprised by a Goth kid. That's a wish list of goths right there.

I never once said this was goth music, although there are quite a few goth bands on that list. I clearly stated, for those with a reading comprehension above a 3rd grade level, that this is music that goth kids liked. Put your readers on next time, Gerry, and try not to go into cardiac arrest.

I'm glad you posted my further explanation to own you. Odd requote, but I'll accept your submission to my dominance over you.

Funny because I think you're both right. There's a lot of crossover.

Whatever dude. I bow to your superior music taste and knowledge. I can only hope that one day I'm lucky enough to be as closed minded as your are.

I am sure it's mutual. There's nothing wrong with that.

There absolutely is. I just think it's odd that a goth kid would make a top anything list and include so much non-goth.

Actually no. I do like and listen to lots of the music you and Stigers circle jerk too. But I realize it's only 1 point along a broad spectrum of music that I like...
