11pm start time for a concert... is that too late?

Is this a normal start time for concerts nowadays?
I wanted to take the wife to see Wayne Toups tomorrow night in Ponchatoula but he doesn't come on until 11pm.
Little late for me personally after working all day, but then again maybe im just an old dude.
Whatcha think?

since when?
I worked at a bar in Hammond in the early 90's and the band almost always when on at 9-9:30, played until 11, took about an hour break then played till 1:30ish.

That's the standard New Orleans bar/music venue start time. ~11pm.
Take a nap after work and mix a red bull and vodka for the road. Assuming you're riding shotgun. Once you're there you'll catch a 2nd wind. W.toups is high energy. Great live show choice-

Unfortunately yes, and is one of the main reasons my show intake has gone way down as I've gotten older...
